As a brand that was formed in order to be worn on the waves, Maui Jim offers several different styles that are meant to be rugged but also classic. They are not as aggressive as Oakley’s. Instead of the extreme sports appeal like some brands, Maui Jim definitely takes a more relaxed approach with cleaner lines and more durable materials.
Maui Jim is one of the few sunglass producers who still use glass lenses in most of their styles. As many companies are switching to polycarbonate lenses that are less expensive to produce, Maui Jim is holding out with the style and quality of older products.
